Biographical Information
Sal Schittino, LCPC, is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Maryland Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Washington College and his Master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College, and completed advanced EMDR training under Deany Laliotis at the Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy.
He spent five years working on the acute dual diagnosis unit at Sheppard Pratt Mental Health Hospital and has over a decade of experience in private practice specializing in trauma, anxiety, and performance-related concerns. He is the owner and lead therapist at The Center for Empowerment and Resilience, with locations in Frederick and Buckeystown, Maryland, where he provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults.
