In this  training we will cover treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) with Exposure and Response Prevention (EPR).  We will discuss a brief history of ERP, the underlying theoretical framework for how ERP works, and current trends in its application.  Practical, case-based examples will be utiized to demonstrate how to conceptualize and formulate a treatment plan based on specific presentations of OCD as well as how to help your client buy-in to the treatment.  Ample time will be given to field clinical questions.

Michael Heady, LCPC is the Co-Director and Co-Owner of the Anxiety and Stress Disorders Institute of Maryland. For over a decade, he has specialized in the treatment of OCD and Anxiety Disorders. He is a Clinical Fellow with the Anxiety and Depression Association of America and a member of the International OCD Foundation. He has extensive experience utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention. He regularly provides professional consultations for therapists and has been featured in numerous public and professional webinars and podcasts.
