Basic duties include:

· Providing individual and group counseling (you will have the flexibility to determine the clients with whom you work best)

· Administrative duties (note writing, chart maintenance, caseload management, scheduling, accepting calls from potential clients, etc.)

· Independently participating in ongoing professional development in the form of reading the latest research, books, articles, podcasts or attending workshops and trainings

· Abiding by the ACA's Code of Ethics and applicable state laws

· Using exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for consistent and effective interactions with clients, management, general public, and potential clients

· Demonstrating passion and commitment to the art of counseling while also practicing self-care

· Demonstrating ability to keep commitments (being reliable, dependable, and trustworthy in dealing with clients and LSCS management)

Full time status involves a caseload of 25 appointments/week.

Qualifications: 

• Active licensure as a LCPC or LCSW-C in Maryland

• Reside in Maryland
