Dear Colleagues:
Mark your calendars for a great Fall Conference this year,
featuring Lynn Grodzki, LCSW, one of our highest rated speakers from prior conferences.
You may recall she is the private practice Guru for mental health professionals.
Our theme this year is "How to Survive and Thrive in a Difficult
Economy." And, her most recent book,
Crisis-Proof Your Practice: How to Survive and Thrive in an Uncertain Economy
which was written in 2009 dovetails with our theme nicely. During her
presentation she will talk about working smarter not harder, bringing our creativity
and resilience to this issue, and reconsidering the business of therapy.
Also, we have another speaker Jeff Richardson, CEO of Mosaic
Inc. Mosaic, Inc is a very successful conglomerate of clinics all across Maryland.
He will provide his expertise and experience related to how a clinic in
Maryland can be successful in an uncertain economy.
We will be mailing a flyer to all LCPC's and LGPC's in
Maryland and sending reminder emails to our members about the conference. You
may register either by mail or on our web site at
www.lcpcm.org.
Hope to see you all there at the Sheraton Columbia Hotel,
Columbia, Maryland.
