CLINICAL Supervision SUBSIDY PROGRAM FOR MARYLAND LGPCs – MORE LGPCs are eligible
2024 Requirement revisions

  • LCPCM is offering financial help to cover a portion of the required clinical supervision costs for LGPCs who need to seek private clinical supervision from an LCPC Board Approved Supervisor. It is limited to those LGPCs who do not have access to the necessary supervision at their workplaces.

LCPCM is pleased now to offer the supervision subsidy program to a greater number of LGPCs by changing the workplace requirements. (Previously, the LGPC had to be working at a site that served the homeless, the disabled, and Medicaid recipients.)

The applicant, the workplace, and the LCPC supervisor must meet certain requirements for the LGPC to qualify. Each individual subsidy is limited to a total of $2,500. Clinical supervision will be subsidized at $50 per session and paid directly to the supervisor. Completed application packages will be reviewed in the order they are received.

    Subsidy Program Purpose

      • To increase access to clinical mental health services by increasing the number of qualified providers.
      • To encourage and assist LGPCs to transition to full licensure and independent practice.
      • To ease the burden of private LCPC supervision costs for LGPCs.
