FIND EASE. FEEL SEEN. FORGE YOUR OWN PATH.

That’s our message for clients, and that’s our message to you.

Open Lines Counseling, a private practice in Baltimore that serves individuals and couples, is looking for therapists licensed in Maryland (LCPC, LGPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, psychologist) to join the practice.

We want both our clients and clinicians to feel supported, seen, safe, and challenged. We aim to provide the right conditions for growth.

We value competent care (including use of evidence-based approaches), ongoing learning, work-life balance, curiosity/creativity, and inclusivity/acceptance of all identities and bodies.

Open Lines Counseling specializes in anxiety & OCD, pregnancy and postpartum mental health (perinatal mental health), and alternative relationship styles including consensual non-monogamy. This is a great opportunity for a therapist wanting to grow their skills or nurture their passion in one of the practice's specialty areas and/or develop their own niche that fits the mission of the practice.

We know you have your own visions and passions and we want to foster them. We would love to hear from you!

We are hiring part-time and full-time clinicians starting at 10 client hours per week.

WHAT OPEN LINES COUNSELING HAS TO OFFER

This is a W-2 position. Open Lines Counseling provides:

    • Supportive, inclusive, and flexible practice culture

    • A steady stream of clients that are a good fit for you

    • Annual continuing education stipend

    • Paid time off

    • Ability to create your own flexible schedule with hybrid or fully Telehealth work options

    • Clinical supervision for LGPCs and optional monthly consultation for all

    • User-friendly EHR

    • Direct deposit

    • Opportunities and ongoing support in executing ideas beyond individual sessions

    ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?

This job is a great fit for you if you:

    • Utilize or want more training in evidence-based approaches (including ERP for OCD treatment, ACT, Gottman method, and mindfulness-based approaches).

    • Have other skills you want to indulge. You want to be part of a small, growing practice where you can use your unique skills (e.g., writing, social media promotion, running groups, giving presentations, etc.) to enhance the mission of the practice and be part of its growth.

    • Can work independently but know when to ask for help/guidance.

    • Want the benefits of working in private practice (e.g., flexibility, autonomy, seeing the clients you want to see) without having to deal with the business management, i.e., you want to focus on seeing clients.

    • Can be direct and don’t shy away from open communication with colleagues and clients.

    • Have strong alignment with practice’s core values, including anti-racism and affirming care. Take a look at the mission and core values to see if they resonate with you and you feel you’d be a good fit.

As we like to say, HoneyB Wellness is therapy as creative as the client, so we’re looking for clinicians who:

    • Will blow us away with your excitement about the population you’ve fallen head over heels into supporting,  the social justice causes you’re fighting for, or the modality you’ve just discovered will change your career!
    • Have cool ideas that have been quietly (or not so quietly) sitting in the back of your mind, yearning for the opportunity to take flight? We want to hear about them! How can we help?
    • Are craving a chance to explore other gardens, as it were, and make strong, collaborative connections with other therapists, services, and communities in the surrounding area!

    • Minimum Master’s Degree in related fields such as counseling or clinical social work

    • The ability to see clients at minimum ten hours a week (for contractors) and up to thirty hours a week

And it would be sweet as honey if you came with:

    • Experience as an approved clinical supervisor

    • The ability to work evenings or weekends

    • A specialization or niche in some way

    • And finally, including but not limited to, if any of these are your preferred populations or ways of working: work with children and/or families, BIPOC clients, LGBTQIA clients, geriatric clients, substance use, sex therapy, autism spectrum disorder, art therapy, pregnancy/prenatal/postpartum, Gottman Method, internal family systems, ADHD, and more!

We offer independent contractor positions starting at fifteen client hours a week. These are hourly positions. We are thrilled to now be offering full time staff positions.
